The Power of His Presence

INTRODUCTION

The woman was a widow and old too. The dead son was her stay, hope and staff of her oldage, here unfortunately, he was cut down by the cruel hands of death before his time it so happened, that the Master Himself was visiting and that made all the difference He spoke and death died. Today, the Master is in town through His word which is being preached to you. Get set for a life changing impact- John 6:63; Lu.1:37 (RSV)

(A) The changing Power of His Presence
– May be known or unknown to you the beneficiary
Unknown – Moses – Exo.34:29-31
· The ten lepers –Lu.17:11-16
· Mary – Lu.1:30-37
Known – Gabriel/Zechariah – Lu.1:11-20
· Woman with Issue of blood – Mk.5:25-29
· Lazarus of Bethany – John.11:37-45

(B) The life Giving Power of His presence
From scriptures, we see at least 4ways God releases His life into a situation viz:
· Breathe – Adam -Gen.2:7
· Speaking – Creation -Gen.1; Eze 37:1-10
· Touch – The leper -Matth.8:1-3; IIKings 13:21
· Incubation of the spirit – Gen.1; Lu.24:49
v Remember: John 6:63 and I Thess.2:13

(c) His Presence Makes Impossibilities possible
· Renewal of Sarah’s dead womb – Gen.18:9-15; Rom.4:19,
· The woman of shunem whose Husband was old and could no longer perform –IIKings 4:14
· Reversal of an economic down turn – IIKings 7:1; Lu.5:4-11
· Peter working of the water –Matth.14:28-30
His presence made the dead Rod to bud – Pls note:
i. The rod carried the name of Aaron, not the tribe of Levi – A specific miracle with your name on it.
ii. Timing is not an issue with God – whether day or Night (in the midst of nothingness) His power can still move and effect His will for you. -2Kings 3:16-17
iii. It is only a miracle that can cause the 3 seasons of life to come at once! i.e
· Budding – A promise of Guaranteed future
· Blossom – A promise of a sure maturity – you can’t be cut short – Psm.44;12-14
· The Almonds – A promise of sure fruitfulness and an assurance of preservation.
This means that your promise need to further delay. It can be fulfilled as soon as it is made to you.
iv. The budding of Aaron’s Rod, therefore tells us to expect God’s quick supernatural manifestations in our lives to end all contentions. Therefore expect in your life.

b. Provision – 2Cor.9:8, Phil.4:19
c. Favour – Psm.90:17 (ampl)
d. Reproduction – John 15:8; 2Cor.4:15 (msg)
Supernatural breakthrough – Amos 9:13-15 (NIV)
