Text: Heb.11:1-6; Rom.1:17

INTRODUCTION

Last week, we saw that as Christians, we have been called to live a life of faith. Faith should be our lifestyle, as everything we are, have and will ever become in God’s kingdom will have to come by faith. If this is so, it becomes extremely crucial that we know and understand this very important subject. This morning, we shall attempt to make some progress in this regard.
Faith Progression

Of the 486 times faith is mentioned in the bible, this verse has it 3 times
On each of the times, it is used with 3 different prepositions i.e

We go From faith TO faith BY faith.

FROM FAITH
Faith is a beginning. A commencement.
Faith has the capacity to always give us new beginnings in all areas /aspects of our lives
All that we do in a life/walk with God need to be from the stand point of faith – Heb.11:6
Faith speaks. It declares the end from the beginning i.e. the objective or intended position in advance – Isaiah 46:10, Job.22:28
It is the speaking faith that procures salvation – Rom.10:8-10
When you speak, you are prophesying and its effectiveness is to the level of your faith – Rom.12:6
As you speak or put your faith to work it grows – Matth.13:31-32; 17:20
Therefore fill your life with the word of faith as you speak and make declarations concerning your life.
Send faith filled word ahead of you to your future.
Faith goes before the fulfillment of prophecy. It brings prophetic fulfillments.

TO FAITH
Faith is a destination
For Abrahams, faith was a beginning and it paid off.
For Joshua and Caleb it was a destination, causing them to survive the wilderness.
Don’t wander through life Use your faith to determine where and what comes to you.
The destination of faith is it’s prophetic fulfillment – 2Tim.1:12, IITim.4:7-8.

BY FAITH
Faith is a lifestyle; not an emergency option or gear
It is what procures, sustains and replicated victory – 1 John 5:4
Let your entire life system be by and of faith i.e
Think by and on faith i.e according to the word
Expect in faith- Prov.23:18,Rom.4:18
Talk faith – Gen.30:24
Walk in faith – No fears
Give in faith – Give to live and live to give –Heb.11:17-19

CONCLUSION

Make faith your lifestyle indeed!
