Habits
Consumption patterns
Tastes
Dress etc.

Merriam – Webster dictionary defines Life style thus:

The typical way of life of an individual, group or culture i.e the culture of an individual or group.

Culture involves:

Language
Names
Dress
Food Patterns
Entertainment
Thinking etc

So, culture has a great impact on lifestyles. Always remember,

That cultures is influenced by the controlling powers of a state, people or group e.g
The English West Africa – British Culture
The French West Africa – French Culture
Your culture as a Christian therefore will reflect the controlling power in your life.
Rom.8:1-4 Clearly states that there are two (2) controlling powers and the Christian will have to determine for himself which has the saddle. They are:-
The Spirit – Spiritual i.e the Law of the spirit
The Fresh – carnality i.e the Law of Sin and death
IICor.5:7 – The spirit walk is by faith
The Carnal walk is by sight

The result of the 2 walks – Gal.6:7-8

You can only hold on to the eternal through a faith lifestyle which is the lifestyle of the kingdom –Heb.11:6

Martin Luther encountered this scripture in 1517 , this changed his life and led to the protestant reformation
This verse occurs in the bible 4 times but each time with a slightly different emphasis.

From Hab.2:4, we see that God’s position is that a man that does not have faith in God, i.e

Without faith, you’re saying you can live independently of God.
Your soul is not right with God
God’s word says you are proud.
God resist i.e makes life difficult for the proud man – James 4:6-7, 1Pet.5:5-6
