Text: Heb.11:1-6, Gal.3:11

INTRODUCTION

Faith is the lifestyle we have been called to live. Our access to God and His things are by faith, we are kept and given victory by faith and we remain in God by faith. Therefore, faith is not just an obtaining agent, but a relating and living agent.
Today, we shall consider the third appearance of this scripture in the bible.
OBSERVE
Quote Gal.3:11 (NIV)
“Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, “The righteous will live by faith.”
Please note:

The law will never bring you into right relationship with God
Only faith guarantees victory. The Law cannot

Three (3) Principles of faith
There 3 Principles of faith we should never forget – Viz

The Negative Principle :-
If you will not believe, you will not be established – Isa.7:9, 2Chro.20:20
The Neutral Principle
It will be done unto you according to your faith –Matth.9:29
The Positive Principle
All things are possible to him that believes – Mk.9:23

DIVINE ESTABLISHMENT
Establishment – Isa.7:9, 2Chro.20:20

Firm, stable or settled into a certain desired position
It is a process not an event e.g David. Psm.40:1-3.

His –

Loneliness – family experience and loneliness in the wilderness left to do the difficult and dirty jobs

Challenges – The lion, the bear Goliath, Saul’s chase and the temptation to kill Saul.

Victories/Joy – Jonathan’s love and the covenant, success at play to drive away Saul’s demons and escapes from Saul.
Failure – Fears, doubts, Sex.

Establishment will require

Faith – To wait patiently on the Lord inspite of the heat of the moment. This will come as a result of one’s previous experience and knowledge of God.

Patience speaks of:

Hope
Expectation
Confidence
Without worrying
These are the component of faith.

Faith – To keep talking to the Lord even though He appeared not to have heard you. But you keep talking because know, He is faithful and hearing.

…incline… to bend or bend down

God cares and He is concerned about us.
We draw strength to wait as we keep talking to Him – Heb.10:35-37
The mistake a lot of us make is that when going through issues, we prefer to talk to men instead of God –Jer.17:5-8

Faith – To let God be the one to do the establishment and not by our manipulations or peolple–Psm.40:2
When God establishes, He takes the responsibility for keeping

Faith – for thanks giving

These processes and more help prepare him for the throne

To Prepare: –

Strengthened Him spiritually.
Deepened his walk/ relationship with God
Enhanced His people’s skill

The Neutral Principle
It will be done unto you according to your faith –Matth.9:29 – e.g

Job
Job 3:25-26;4:14

Contrast – Job1:6-12; 2:3

The woman with the issue of Blood.
Mk.5:28-34

The Positive Principle
All things are possible to him that believes – Mk.9:23

The centurion – Matth.8:5-13
The syrophenician women–Mk.7:24-30

CONCLUSION

Choose today what you wish to see in your life.
