The significance of No.15 in scriptures
According to E.W. Bullingers – Number in Scriptures

Supernatural design and significance, the number 15 in scripture is a very special number.

Consider this:

a. It is the product of 3×5

3- Divine perfection of the Godhead
5 – Grace

b. It is the sum of 7 +8

7 – Covenant
8- Resurrection

c. Gen.7:20 – the Ark was lifted by the flood 15 cubits high
d. 2Kings 20:6 – 15 more years were added to king Hezekiah
e. Esther 9:18,21 – the Jews were delivered from death on the 15th day of the month
f. Acts 27:21-41 – confirmation of the Angelic word to Paul was in the early hours of the 15th day.

Therefore no.15 in the Bible symbolizes dealings effected by divine grace.

It was specific (v3-5)… forgiveness, redemption, renewal etc

Closely examine v2 – the summary of his reasons for praising God

The word benefit – Hebrew – GEMUL i.e.

Divine dealings!
