Text: Mark 11:23
“For verily I say unto you, that whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the
sea, and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass, he shall have whatsoever he saith.”
EIGHT FACTS WE NEED TO KNOW ABOUNT FAITH
1.] Anytime God wants to change someone’s life, He touches the person’s mouths.
What you can not confess, you cannot possess. What you say is what you get. Mathew 7:7 Ask and it shall be given
you. If you don’t ask, you cannot get it. The truth is that you can only ask with your mouth. Your mountain needs to hear your voice.
2.] Faith will not necessarily prevent all mountains, but your faith is very important to move them.
Mathew 17 : 20 … verily I say unto you, if you have faith as a grain of mustered seed, you say unto this mountain, remove hence to yonder place, and it shall remove and nothing shall be impossible unto you.
Your need will not move God an inch, but it takes faith to move God.
3.] Your faith will never rise above your words. What you say is a reflection of your faith.
Mark 11 : 24 “What thing soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them”
If you are not happy with what you have in life, check out what you have been saying. ‘The door to the supernatural swings on two hinges … believing and speaking – Kenneth E. Hagin.
4.] Faith without corresponding action is dead. Faith is act: The simplest definition of faith is acting like the Bible is true. Faith has both a vocal and a body language.
The spirit of faith can be seen and heard. Luke 5 : 20 “And when He saw their faith, He said ….
Hebrews 11 : 6 “But without faith it is impossible to please Him …
God is a faith God, faith won’t move anything until it moves you.
5.] Faith is a team sport. Corporate faith is key in the language of faith. “If the devil can trick you into being independent, he can get you out of a place of faith”. Smith Wigglesworth.
6.] What you hear is very important to your faith. Romans 10 : 17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God”.
7.] Faith works by love. Galatians 5:6 (Amp) .. faith is activated and energized and expressed and working through love.
“A step out of love is a step out of God” Kenneth E. Hagin. The biggest enemy to faith is unforgiveness whenever you believe God you always cheer up.
Your enemy, the devil, does not have any of the fruit of the spirit. Develop the fruit of the spirit and you will overcome.
8.] The spirit of faith is a pioneer spirit. Hebrews 11 : 8. By faith, Abraham … went out, not knowing whither he went. The spirit of faith will make you leave your comfort zone.
