2. To cause to grow or advance of oneself.
3. To work out the potentialities of oneself

You can’t talk of self development without mentioning potential or latent. Latent is hidden; concealed; not visible or apparent or dormant potential of somebody.

WHY PEOPLE DON’T INVEST IN THEMSELVES

1. Ignorance. They don’t know the importance of investing in themselves
2. Loss of faith in self
3. Relics of cultural heritage
4. No future ambition
5. Belonging to wrong environment

THE IMPORTANCE OF INVESTING IN ONE SELF

3. It earns you respect. As a leader, the only way you can earn respect of your subordinates is the investment you put in your life.
