The Origin of a Breach in a Life

· Sin develops into transgression and this repeated over time becomes Iniquity in subsequent generations attracting its own consequences, which is a curse:

Prov 26:2
2 Like a fluttering sparrow or a darting swallow, an undeserved curse does not come to rest. NIV

EXODUS 20:5
Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; KJV

Gal 6:7-9
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows. 8 The one who sows to please his sinful nature, from that nature will reap destruction; the one who sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. N IV

Cursed = empowered to fail.

Disobedience brings the curse

Sin = falling short of the mark, to miss the mark, or to fall below the mark of what God has called you to do. That would cover all of us. Every one has fallen short of the mark. That’s why we need a Savior. That’s why we need Jesus! –Rom.3:23

Transgression

To overstep pre-established boundaries. Like stepping on the feet and violating the space of an individual. Or like violating a NO TRESPASSING sign. Things you’ve done to others. –Wickedness to others.

Note in particular – offenses involving blood sacrifices especially the sacrifice of human life particularly the innocent attracts grave generational consequences.

Iniquity

· To bend or to distort the heart.
· It implies a certain weakness or predisposition toward a certain issue. The wrong doing becomes an iniquity when you keep doing that same act.
· Iniquity is something that is practiced over and over again until it becomes spontaneous. You get to the point where, given the right circumstance or given the right environment, you will bend at that direction every time.
· Iniquity is what is passed down through the bloodline. i.e the mindset, with a tendency to:
· As iniquity is passed down from one generation to the next, it becomes stronger and if we don’t stop it, our children will have a harder time than we have had.
· It has the capacity to get deeply rooted in a family tree with time.
· Iniquity becomes iniquity when you fail to resolve it and it attracts and perpetuates Generational Curses
– Prolonged and sustained disobedience attracts a curse
– A curse is an empowerment to fail no matter what.
