The cry of sonship – “make me” Lu.15:19, Matt.4:19-20, Mk.14:36, Rom.8:15
The beginning of sonship showing:-
Submission to authority
Willingness to change
Acceptance of personal responsibility for actions
The decision of sonship is intentional. Heb.5:12, Phil.2:12-13, Rom.6:13 (LB)
Requires commitment to grow. He must desire and make effort to grow.
Its about growing up and not growing older
Its about commitment because whatever we nurture grows. 2 action steps required viz:
* An organized plan for growth at personal and corporate level
* A comprehensive strategy for assimilation and developing members to maturity.

Every child born has the capacity for growth provided he/she will develop the habits necessary or required for growth. ITim.4:7 – Philips Trans. “Take time and trouble to keep yourself spiritually fit”. See also the NLT.
The growth habits can be acquired through continuous exercise and discipline ITim.4:8, Eph.4:13
From the habits acquired character evolves gradually developing us into the image of the SON
