HOW TO ENGAGE THE MIND
1 LEARNING:
When you stop learning, you start dying- Dr T.L. Osborn
I Daniel understood by books – Daniel 9:2
“The cloak that I left at Troas with Carpus, when thou comest, bring with thee and the books, but especially the parchements” 2 Tim. 4:13 Apostle wrote about half of the New Testament, yet, he was carrying books and notes about.
2 KNOWLEDGE:
The result of learning is knowledge. It is acquired through the use of the mind in Learning. Your knowledge is your power.
“Ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free” John 8:32
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge” Hosea 4:6
3 UNDERSTANDING:
“That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him: the eyes of your understanding being enlightened that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the Saints.” Eph 1:17-18
Understanding is a step forward in the school of knowledge. Where as knowledge gets the information across, understanding unravels the things.
4 THE POWER OF IMAGINATION:
Your imagination sets the pace for your destination.
You can t receive more than what you see. It is your mental picture that determines your actual future.
